Jorns AG is an international, family-run business. At our headquarters in Lotzwil, we develop and manufacture bending machines for sheet metal processing applications around the world. We are always on the lookout for talented young professionals, who we then train utilising our years of experience as a training centre, our state-of-the-art machinery and our absolute dedication to the task. If working with tools, materials and machines is something you are interested in, then you are just the sort of person we are looking for. We offer three different technical apprenticeships with a wide range of perspectives for the future – as plant and equipment engineer (EFZ), polytechnician (EFZ) or production mechanic (EFZ).

You will be trained with around ten other apprentices in our modern facilities with perfectly appointed apprentice workshop. From the very first day, you can play an active role in production – from the metalworking shop right through to final assembly. You will also visit several industry courses at the Swissmechanic training centre in Münchenbuchsee (polytechnician (EFZ) or production mechanic (EFZ)) and at the IDM Thun vocational training centre (plant and equipment engineer (EFZ)).
